GRACE ANNAB: A key part of our talent management process is to ensure that employees do have a long career with us. We really pride ourselves on promoting people from within and providing opportunities for them to continue to stay and grow within our organizations.
NATHAN GODFREY: Across Volaris, quite a large majority of all of our leaders come from acquisitions or are promoted from within our companies. And so for us, one of the key aspects of our human resources practices is talent management reviews.
GRACE ANNAB: The talent management process is really meant to help employees develop, understanding what skill sets they need, providing them those opportunities to develop that and moving them around to different roles so that they can continue on within the organization.
NATHAN GODFREY: One of the focuses for us in the talent management review is really considering what a person is capable of, what they would like to achieve in their career, and considering what development plan we might be able to put in place to help them get there.
GRACE ANNAB: You can grow your career into becoming a business leader, into a group leader. We oversee a number of companies and also move on into a portfolio manager type role. Those are the types of leaders we’re looking to continue to grow in our organization, but it’s not only limited to those roles. You can grow your career within a functional area as well, too. From our perspective, the opportunities are endless for an individual who is very career oriented within organizations and we’re happy to work with them to provide those opportunities.
