Cultura President discusses global agri-food challenges and opportunities on the BulkLoads Podcast

Cultura’s President, Rich Reynertson, spoke to fellow industry leader Jared Flinn, co-founder of BulkLoads.com and host of the BulkLoads Podcast. The podcast explores topics of interest to leaders who work in the bulk freight trucking business.

Their discussion went into how technology is used in modern agri-food supply chains to boost efficiency and tackle global problems, such as food insecurity and supply chain resilience and optimization. Reynertson estimates that Cultura companies touch 70% of the grain that moves in North America, such as through accounting systems and system of record offerings.

Cultura SVP on how industry collaboration can be a competitive advantage on the Future of Agriculture podcast

Cultura’s Senior Vice President of Global Collaboration, Jeff Schreiner, was a guest on the Future of Agriculture podcast. The show is hosted and produced by agri-food communicator Tim Hammerich, and Schreiner was interviewed for a July 2024 episode by Rhishi Pethe, Managing Partner of Metal Dog Labs and author of the Software is Feeding the World newsletter.

Their conversation described a “survive to 2025” mentality that is driving some businesses amid a tougher environment for raising funds. Schreiner describes how joining the Cultura ecosystem of agri-food technology companies can enable competitors to put aside their differences, facilitate collaboration, and share useful data that can give them a competitive edge.

Vencora company Portfolio+ featured in Wealth Professional for a new reverse mortgage product

Wealth Professional, an online publication for Canadian financial planning and advice professionals, wrote about a new reverse mortgage solution launched by Portfolio+, a company belonging to our Vencora division, which acquires, strengthens, and grows vertical market technology companies in the banking, insurance and financial services sectors. 

The new lending product from Portfolio+ is the company’s response to growing demand from seniors who are looking to leverage their home equity to fund their retirements. 

Portfolio+ CEO Dianne Cupples is quoted as saying: "Portfolio+ is proud to introduce a product that not only addresses the pressing challenges in today's market, but also provides financial institutions with a tool to drive innovation and meet the evolving needs of their clients."

Modaxo’s Senior Vice President and Chief Customer Officer Paul Comfort was a guest on the Transition to Zero podcast. The show is hosted by Jared Schnader from CALSTART, and it explores the transition to zero-emission transit.
